I am a recent Physics graduate from Istanbul Technical University, where I also completed a minor in Theoretical Mathematics. Currently, I am pursuing my master’s degree at Boğaziçi University, with a focus on mathematical physics and differential geometry. My current efforts are specifically directed toward developing expertise in complex differential geometry, and I maintain a strong interest in all things gravity-related.
Some of my recent side-interests are all things quantum, tensor networks, Topos Theory, Locale Theory, and Hyperkahler manifolds. I would appreciate any guidance on these topics. I live to learn more mathematics and find joy whenever I see its actual applications in physics. In the meantime, I am also developing myself in the fields of ML and NLP. I'll try to keep my GitHub updated with any relevant projects I may develop regarding ML (currently on hiatus). Some extra dream study goals are: Variational Bicomplex, Subriemannian geometry, More functional anaylsis and more in-depth topics of complex analysis and also quaternionic analysis.
I believe science, especially math and physics, is a collaborative effort. I always try my best to help out along the way, so feel free to contact me. I've probably been there (or even worse).
Besides my courses I am currently independently trying to work through Nakahara, Becker-Becker-Schwarz, and some AdS Review articles.
I have decided to create a CV of Failures so that, maybe in dire times, it might help keep my perspective in check. I will try to keep it updated. My full name is İsmail Deniz Gün / İsmail Deniz Gün (including this for search engine optimization purposes).
